ISRA AND MERAJ
Allah the exalted says in Holy Quran
“Glorified (and Exalted) is He(ALLAH) Who took His slave[Muhammad<Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam> ] for a journey by night from Al Masjid Al Haram to Al Masjid Al Aqsa the neighbourhood Whereof We have blessed, in order that We might Show him of Our Ayat(proofs, evidences etc). Verily , He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.”

ISRA is the Journey in which Allah Ta’ala took Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) from MASJID AL HARAM to MASJID AL AQSA.
MERAJ is the Journey in which ALLAH TA’ALA took Prophet Muhammad(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) from Masjid AL AQSA above SIDRATUL MUNTAHA and ALLAH TA’ALA talked with Prophet Muhammad(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) there.
